On Tuesday, 29 June 2010, Drew Arthurson from the Foundation for Young Australians and Mark McLay from 2009 Impact Award Winning School, St Arnaud Primary, sat down with Melissa Doyle and David Koch of Sunrise to talk about the NAB Schools First program. They discussed the many diverse school-community partnerships, how the awards funding has helped this award winning school, and the awards funding and application in 2010.

Glenallen School partners with local nursing home

Bridging the gap: school partners with local nursing home

Glenallen School is helping bridge the gap between generations, with students teaching nursing home residents how to play the Nintendo Wii. This is an example used for the launch of NAB Schools First to illustrate the types of school-community partnerships eligible for the awards.
