Up close and personal with the NAB Schools First team
Every year, the team likes to capture the NAB Schools First journey. So many things evolve and each year the team are inspired by the applications, the winning school-community partnerships and the passion and enthusiasm for the NAB Schools First program. Below you will see a series of staff documentaries that we have filmed since the start of the program. Have a watch and listen to the team talk about how the program has gone from strength to strength. We hope you enjoy this commentary and you are provided with an insight and overview of the people who work on NAB Schools First on a day-to-day basis.
2009
Class of 2009
For a little fun, we decided to share with everyone where we all went to school, what we thought of school, what we wanted to be when we got older and what education means to us. (4:00)
Year One
At the start of 2010, the NAB Schools First team thought that it would be a good idea to capture the thoughts and emotions of the inaugural year of the program in 2009. The first year of the program exceeded all expectations and a lot of hard work and planning went into getting the program up and running. (10:49)
2010
2010 and Beyond
We also thought it would be nice to capture what we hoped the program would achieve in 2010. (3:01)
Year Two
At the start of 2011, the NAB Schools First team decide to capture the thoughts and emotions of the program and everything that happened in the second year (2010). At the start of Year Two the team made some significant enhancements to the program to ensure school-community partnerships had all the information they required to submit a high quality application. The program continued to succeed and achieve amazing results. Hear what the team had to say about Year Two of the NAB Schools First program. (7:48)
2011
Year Three
Whilst filming the thoughts and emotions of Year Two, the team also decided to capture their expectations, hopes and goals for the third year of the program (2011). With two years complete, have a listen to what the NAB Schools First team hope to achieve in Year Three. (5:15)
The Program
The NAB Schools First team often talks about leaving a legacy and what impact this national awards program is having on school-community partnerships across Australia. So, rather than concentrating on the goals and objectives of each year, we decided to capture the long-term hopes and dreams for NAB's flagship education program. (8:01)
