Schools First Partnership Forums

Is your school or a school you know planning to apply for a Schools First award in 2010? Do you want to find out more about the awards?
If so, make sure you attend one of 33 Schools First Partnership Forums taking place in metropolitan and regional centres across Australia between April and June 2010.
Welcoming schools, charitable organisations, local groups and businesses, the forums are designed to:
- Directly provide detailed information on Schools First awards in 2010 – funding available, how and when to apply
- Key learnings from 2009 applications – hints, tips and what to avoid when applying
- Learn first-hand about successful school-community partnerships in your area and outstanding national examples – why they were formed, how they work, the positive outcomes they provide to students
- Network! Meet like-minded possible school-community partners that might just lead to the start of an amazing partnership in 2010 and possibly even your share in up to $5-million of Schools First awards this year
