Student Award
The NAB Schools First Student Award is now in its second year. This award gives a voice to the students and recognises and rewards their ideas for a school-community partnership.
In 2012 the 10 best student-initiated ideas from across Australia will receive an awards pack for themselves and their school, including $5,000 to help turn their idea into a reality and support from the NAB Schools First team.
No idea is too big or small. Students just need to come up with an original idea for a partnership in their local community that will benefit their school.
Student Award criteria
Students wishing to apply for a Student Award are required to write about the ideas they have and how they plan to put them into practice. They will need to demonstrate that the:
- needs and the objectives of the partnership have been identified
- benefits and outcomes of the project are described
- student focussed activities are explained, and
- steps undertaken in the planning are outlined.
